Meet Your Massage Therapists
Casey graduated from Capri College in Dubuque, IA, in June of 2012. She quickly began her massage career at Bergamot Massage and Bodywork in November of 2013. She feels the vibe from the owners, therapists, and establishment itself is what attracted her to start at Bergamot.
Casey believes in a holistic approach to healing and offers up her own Swedish - Thai fusion massage to each of her clients. In her free time she likes to hike, rock climb, read, and spend time with her dogs Merry and Pippin.
Meg is a graduate from East West Healing Arts Institute with five years of experience working as a licensed massage therapist. Modalities she is trained in include: Swedish, Deep Tissue, TuiNa (Chinese Medical Massage), Acupressure, Cupping, Hot Stone, and Pre-natal.
Meg's gift lies in her ability to provide a wide range of pressures- from extremely gentle to deep tissue, and in her ability to intuitively listen to the body.
When not massaging, you can find Meg playing video or card games, traveling, or outside enjoying nature.
Jacqueline is a graduate of Madison College’s Therapeutic Massage Program, and has been with
Bergamot since August 2017. She practices Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, deep tissue, hot
stone, and loves to experiment with a variety of other modalities. Jacqueline believes massage is the
perfect balance to the stress and demands of modern life, and is working towards making the world a
better place – one massage at a time! She loves to customize each session according to your specific
Besides massage, Jacqueline also loves visiting her family, knitting a never-ending circle of unfinished
scarves, getting outdoors with her husband, or reading a good memoir.
Sarah graduated from Madison area technical college in 2007 from the Therapeutic massage program. She also has been a licensed Esthetician since 2005. She Specializes in therapeutic, Swedish, prenatal massage, and body treatments. Sarah has had the opportunity to study in Beijing and Shanghai, China and incorporates eastern techniques in her practice. She customizes every massage to the clients needs, because she believes every body is unique and experiences pain and holds tension differently.
In her free time she loves exploring and visiting various Wisconsin state parks, going for long walks and having dance parties in her living room with her 2 year old son.
Brian is a graduate of the Madison College Therapeutic Massage Program. He is trained in Swedish, Prenatal, and Oncology Massage. Before becoming a massage therapist he worked at the UW-Madison Nursing School and for a number of years supported medical teams in the back country of Honduras.
When he is not at Bergamot he is either working at the Medical School, volunteering massage at Agrace Hospice, or home with his wife and all their dogs. Other spare time is spent paddle boarding, hiking, or reading.
Canadian born, Jessica attended massage therapy school at Black Hawk College in Moline, Illinois. After school and some experience in both Iowa and Illinois, Jessica moved to Madison and joined Bergamot in 2016. She is trained in Swedish Massage, Hot Stone, Reflexology, and Trigger Point Therapy. Her style of massage is Swedish with relaxation techniques to help relax tense muscles.
Outside of work Jessica enjoys traveling, cooking, and downhill skiing.
Alex graduated from Madison College's Therapeutic Massage Program in May 2017. He joined Bergamot three months later. Alex is trained in Swedish Massage, Hot Stone, and Trigger Point Therapy. Alex's approach to massage therapy is to be fully present and intentional with each massage to address your needs. His goal is that each massage you get is the best massage you've gotten.
Outside of massage Alex is an agricultural engineer, an aerialist, and an improvisor. Alex has 4 chickens named Tater-Tot, Flash, Rocket, and Eagle.
Stephanie graduated from East West Healing Arts Institute in August 2015 with the passion to ease peoples tension so theirs lives could foster growth and wellbeing. Stephanie makes a point to listen to her clients and design a massage that will leave them feeling better. She incorporates a variety of modalities into her massages; her training includes: Acupressure, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, TuiNa, Myofasial, and spa treatments such as Hot Stones, Salt Stones, and Scrubs.
Bailey graduated from the Madison College Therapeutic Massage Program in December of 2016. She is trained in Swedish, deep tissue, cupping, trigger point, hot stone, prenatal, arm neuropathy, nerve flossing, and TMJ massage. Bailey greatly enjoys treating each session on a case-by-case basis and helping her clients discover what's causing their pain and issues, what massage techniques help or hurt the condition, and what they can do in their lives to help the massage last and improve their condition.
Besides massage, Bailey enjoys going antiquing and thrifting with her husband, and sewing dresses for her dog.
Michelle graduated from Madison College's Therapeutic Massage Program in May 2018. Her training is based on Swedish-style massage, along with deep tissue, hot stone and trigger point therapy. Before becoming a massage therapist Michelle has held various jobs, including work as a daycare teacher and certified nursing assistant. She loves helping and caring for others and that is one of the many reasons which attracted her towards deciding upon a career in Massage Therapy.
In her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time with family and her handsome husky/lab/pit/wolf mix Harlow. She also loves creating oil paintings on canvas, swimming, being outside in nature, reading and dabbling in other various interests.
Rachel graduated Madison College for Massage Therapy in May of 2013. Her range of pressure from medium to deep tissue allows for complete relaxation in her signature Swedish style. Rachel is uniquely trained in Pre-Natal Massage as well. She joined the at Bergamot team in September of 2015.
Rachel is originally from Madison and enjoys walking around the city by the lake. When she is not massaging, she dabbles in art projects ranging from crafts to drawing and painting.
Shelley is a therapist with many years of experience. She holds certificates from the Healing Arts Massage School in St. Louis Missouri, The Ohashi Institute in NYC, and the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. She is a graduate of UW-Madison in Fine Arts and Madison College in Graphic Design. Shelley's massage is a fusion of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu and Qigong Massage.
A native of Wisconsin, Shelley lived 20 years away in other States and countries before coming back to live near to her family. She enjoys oil painting, graphic design, photography and international travel.
Jo is from the Madison area and graduated from Madison College in December of 2016. She is trained in Swedish Massage, Prenatal, Geriatric, Hot Stones, and Trigger Point work.
Before becoming a Massage Therapist, she spent 8 years as a Nurse's Assistant and transitioned into Massage Therapy to expand her abilities to assist and encourage people in improving and taking care of themselves.
In her free time she goes backpacking, reads, and travels.
Paul graduated from Madison College in the spring of 2018 and joined the Bergamot Family shortly after. He holds a strong belief that every client is unique and that all clients should receive a custom-tailored massage to address what they need out of their session. Paul specializes in migraine and injury work.
Outside of work Paul likes fire dancing, grilling and live music.
Ty graduated from East-West Healing Arts Institute August of 2016. Her work is intuitive, intentional and a creative blend of energy work and both Eastern and Western medicine. She has had the opportunity to study in Hawaii and become certified in Ancient Lomi Lomi.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
Meet Our Front Desk
Christina is Bergamot's Assistant Director and Director of Social Media along with front desk reception. She has been working for Bergamot since Fall 2016 and loves being able to interact with our clients every day. Outside of Bergamot she directs the BadgerBOTS Junior Lego Robotics Summer Camp, teaches STEM related workshops and helps at the BadgerBOTS Education Center.
Christina is also a freelance videographer and photographer, she has won two awards for her videos and currently does work for local companies and individuals.
Robert has been working as a receptionist for Bergamot since fall of 2017. In his free time, he enjoys streaming and creating content on YouTube. Robert is planning on attending MATC for the IT Networking program in the following year.
Josie is Bergamot’s Head of Corporate Programs and Talent Recruitment along with front desk reception. She has been with Bergamot since Spring of 2018. Josie is very passionate about art and wellness, and spends her free time painting. She also enjoys a good mix of spending time in nature and video games when she has time. She loves the team at Bergamot and enjoys the overall feel of relaxation and community that Bergamot Massage provides.
