Meet Your Massage Therapists
Casey graduated from Capri College in Dubuque, IA, in June of 2012. She quickly began her massage career at Bergamot Massage and Bodywork in November of 2013. She feels the vibe from the owners, therapists, and establishment itself is what attracted her to start at Bergamot.
Casey believes in a holistic approach to healing and offers up her own Swedish - Thai fusion massage to each of her clients. In her free time she likes to hike, rock climb, read, and spend time with her dogs Merry and Pippin.
Meg is a graduate from East West Healing Arts Institute with five years of experience working as a licensed massage therapist. Modalities she is trained in include: Swedish, Deep Tissue, TuiNa (Chinese Medical Massage), Acupressure, Cupping, Hot Stone, and Pre-natal.
Meg's gift lies in her ability to provide a wide range of pressures- from extremely gentle to deep tissue, and in her ability to intuitively listen to the body.
When not massaging, you can find Meg playing video or card games, traveling, or outside enjoying nature.
Born and raised in California, Chloe spent four years in Washington State earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Alternative Health before returning to her hometown to pursue massage at the National Holistic Institute of Massage Therapy. After graduating in 2015, she spent several years in Texas, where she discovered DermoNeuroModulation, a gentle approach with profound results that provides long-lasting relief from pain and tension. She is passionate about integrating this new approach with next-level relaxation to create sessions customized to each client.
In 2018, Chloe moved to Madison to be closer to family and has fallen in love with the area. Outside of work, she can be found writing, studying pain science, and taking the occasional tap dance class!
Kim graduated from East-West Healing Arts Institute in August 2017. After which she traveled to China for 2 weeks and received TuiNa medical massage and acupuncture. This furthered her interest in Eastern modalities that she had training in while at East-West Institute. She often utilizes TuiNa and acupressure points into her massage to help with pain relief and stress reduction.
Kim is thrilled to have found Bergamot which she feels offers an environment for relaxation and compassion towards its therapists and clientele.
Presence and mindfulness carry over into other areas of her free time as she enjoys activities such as; yoga, meditation, attending live music events and spending time with family and friends. She’s very thankful for this opportunity to help bring others to a place of peace and is thankful to be practicing massage here at Bergamot.
Canadian born, Jessica attended massage therapy school at Black Hawk College in Moline, Illinois. After school and some experience in both Iowa and Illinois, Jessica moved to Madison and joined Bergamot in 2016. She is trained in Swedish Massage, Hot Stone, Reflexology, and Trigger Point Therapy. Her style of massage is Swedish with relaxation techniques to help relax tense muscles.
Outside of work Jessica enjoys traveling, cooking, and downhill skiing.
Ty graduated from East-West Healing Arts Institute August of 2016. Her work is intuitive, intentional and a creative blend of energy work and both Eastern and Western medicine. She has had the opportunity to study in Hawaii and become certified in Ancient Lomi Lomi.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
Micala graduated from Blue Sky School of Professional Massage & Therapeutic Bodywork in September 2012. She has worked in both spa and clinical settings before joining the Bergamot family in May 2019. Her previous jobs have given her a wide range of experiences ranging from relaxation to injury work. She is trained in Swedish, trigger point therapy, deep tissue, prenatal, hot stone, and scrubs. Micala believes that each massage session should be tailored to her client’s specific needs and goals.
In her spare time, Micala enjoys crafting, reading, hiking, and spending time with her family and puppies Bruce and Oakley.
Rachel graduated Madison College for Massage Therapy in May of 2013. Her range of pressure from medium to deep tissue allows for complete relaxation in her signature Swedish style. Rachel is uniquely trained in Pre-Natal Massage as well. She joined the at Bergamot team in September of 2015.
Rachel is originally from Madison and enjoys walking around the city by the lake. When she is not massaging, she dabbles in art projects ranging from crafts to drawing and painting.
Shelley is a therapist with many years of experience. She holds certificates from the Healing Arts Massage School in St. Louis Missouri, The Ohashi Institute in NYC, and the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. She is a graduate of UW-Madison in Fine Arts and Madison College in Graphic Design. Shelley's massage is a fusion of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu and Qigong Massage.
A native of Wisconsin, Shelley lived 20 years away in other States and countries before coming back to live near to her family. She enjoys oil painting, graphic design, photography and international travel.
Jo is from the Madison area and graduated from Madison College in December of 2016. She is trained in Swedish Massage, Prenatal, Geriatric, Hot Stones, and Trigger Point work.
Before becoming a Massage Therapist, she spent 8 years as a Nurse's Assistant and transitioned into Massage Therapy to expand her abilities to assist and encourage people in improving and taking care of themselves.
In her free time she goes backpacking, reads, and travels.
Meet Our Front Desk
Christina is Bergamot's Assistant Director and Director of Digital Marketing along with front desk reception. She has been working for Bergamot since Fall 2016 and loves being able to interact with our clients every day. When she is not working at Bergamot, Christina is a freelance photographer (Beyond Infinity Photography) and is currently training to be a dance instructor at Arthur Murray Dance Studio.
During free time she enjoys spending days by the lake, reading and finding unique local businesses/spots in Madison with her friends.
Josie is Bergamot’s Head of Corporate Programs and Talent Recruitment along with front desk reception. She has been with Bergamot since Spring of 2018. Josie is very passionate about art and wellness, and spends her free time painting. She also enjoys a good mix of spending time in nature and video games when she has time. She loves the team at Bergamot and enjoys the overall feel of relaxation and community that Bergamot Massage provides.
Courtney has been with Bergamot since 2014 and currently works as one of its receptionists part-time. Most of her time is spent working towards a degree in Dietetics at UW-Madison. She is endlessly interested in learning about total body wellness and nutrition. Her free time is filled by lounging with her cats, hiking with her fiancé, and cooking healthy meals.
